The silk comfort range is a unique type of mix. Whilst using the benefits of silk and the fluffiness of polyester fibres, it has all the benefits that silk has been documented to have. These include the unique transpiration ability and its unique anti-allergenic effects. The CrossVent™ weaving technology developed for NordicComfort™ makes it possible for silk to keep its maximum material strength. A study showed that even though silk is an extremely soft material, the silk fibres are stronger and more durable than metal fibres (Grande, 1988).
